Custom Lighting for Local Restaurants
Lighting Design at Chango Rosa
This new restaurant in Hartford features graffiti art on its walls, which we highlighted with recessed lighting and LED bulbs. We always make sure that the lighting design in a commercial space ties in with the decor, which is what we did in the bar and dining area.
Main Dining Room
Connecticut Lighting also provided commercial services to the previous restaurant, Hot Tomato’s, so we were able to refurbish their chandeliers for the dining room. At Restoration Lighting Gallery, we sprayed the sockets black and replaced the bulbs with vintage LEDs. Our team at RLG can do anything when it comes to lighting modification!
Bar and Kitchen
The bar was a challenge, since the ceilings are tin and we only had power in one area. We were able to run line voltage track and drop pendants off it that complement the chandeliers.
When your lights are on for more than 12 hours a day, energy-efficiency is important. For the kitchen, we provided sufficient task lighting using LED flat panels that only use 40 watts versus 140 watts for a typical light bulb.
Lighting & Hardware at Bear’s Smokehouse
Over at Bear’s Smokehouse, owner Jamie McDonald wanted simple lighting design. We made custom wired mesh pendant with LED retro bulb at Restoration Lighting Gallery. We also provided the hardware at this restaurant, including a modern sliding barn door. At Connecticut Lighting, we have bath, cabinet and door hardware – we basically handle everything hardware except for the plumbing!
When we take on a commercial lighting project, we carefully listen to the owner’s concept and supply lighting to fit those needs. We’ll also come back on-site whenever you encounter an issue or want to further update your lighting design. Contact us today to learn more!
