As a part of today’s WNPR “Where We Live” radio program with host, John Dankosky, David Director and Jim Meltzer from Connecticut Lighting Centers weighed in on new federal light bulb regulations and the eventual phase out of the incandescent light bulb to make way for more energy efficient bulbs.
The show featured guests from opposing sides of the battle over light bulb regulation and callers who joined the discussion. Issues about potential environmental impact from mercury found in fluorescents, present and future lighting technologies and various impacts on the way we view the changes in lighting today are all a part of the conversation.
