Holtkötter Volkslampes Make Reading A Joy

The Volkslampe Series table and floor lamps are Holtkötter’s answer to the need for energy efficiency and increased light levels required by the aging eye.
The VL-100 End-Table Lamp comes with two 18 watt CFL bulbs – providing 2400 lumens. Shown in a Satin Nickel finish with the Kupfer shade. 20″ H x 13.5″ W x 5.5″ DThe lumens (light output) from these lamps is nothing short of spectacular. For example, a lamp with two standard 60 watt incandescent bulbs would have an output of around 1600 lumens. Compare this to the VL-100 (pictured to the left) which comes with two 18 watt CFL bulbs and provides an astounding output of 2400 lumens – one-third the energy for one and a half times the light output. All Volkslampe Series table and floor lamps are available in hand brushed old bronze, brushed satin, and satin nickel finishes. They also come with three shade options – Satin White, Kupfer, and Vintage Grey. Each lamp is Energy Star® rated and has a pull-chain with a decorative VL (Volkslampe) logo finial.
Take note: Lumens are a unit of measurement that describe the amount of light a source produces & watts are the amount of electrical power consumed. Compared to a standard incandescent lamp, for the amount of electricity consumed (watts), a Volkslampe has an incredible output of light (lumens).
