Connecticut Lighting Centers and The House That Social Media Built (HSMB) have partnered on HSMB’s most recent home project, The Clamdigger. HSMB gives everyday people the opportunity to “flip a house” by voting on social media for their favorite wall colors, furniture and more. Connecticut Lighting Center has provided the lighting choices for this new home in Guilford, CT.

Nicole and Mike from HSMB got a sneak peek of our new Southington showroom, before we officially opened its doors in December 2017. They chose a few fixtures for The Clamdigger, including a chandelier for the dining room and an LED fixture that would look great in a hallway! Not only does HSMB come to us for lighting and proper placement, we are also their source for cabinet and door knobs.

Local Lighting Companies on Display

Our goal with the new showroom was to help customers get a better idea of how fixtures will look in their homes and businesses. Outdoor lighting has its own dedicated section – which is darker than the rest of the store – so you get a real feel for each fixture’s function. One of the companies we partner with is Northeast Lantern, located right in New Hampshire. Their fixtures are hand-soldered and the finishes have a lifetime warranty!
