Family Owned & Operated in Hartford

As part of the Connecticut Lighting family, Restoration Lighting Gallery is a locally known family-owned business in Hartford. Our in-house restoration and repair technicians work directly with consumers and contractors to provide antique lighting design.

Founder Arthur Director opened his first showroom in 1972 with the philosophy that “the customer is boss!” He passed this value onto his son David, current President of Connecticut Lighting Centers and Restoration Lighting Gallery, and his grandson Todd, Vice President. Today, they continue to run their showrooms with this same conviction.

We stock our Hartford gallery with one-of-a-kind products and custom creations. Whether you’re shopping for a period piece or want to customize a lamp with shade and finial, you will find nothing but the best quality at Restoration Lighting Gallery. Our knowledgeable staff members are dedicated to helping you find exactly what you need to complete a room.

Giving Back to Our Local Communities

At Restoration Lighting Gallery and Connecticut Lighting Centers, community service is very important to us. The Director family and showroom staffs are involved in many local activities and organizations. Our local business has been recognized for its charitable efforts.

There’s only one thing people remember — your name and what kind of person you were. Giving back is what it is really about. – David Director

Rather than shop at a big box retailer this holiday season, find unique gifts at the local businesses who support your local community. Let’s support small business together!
